Rookery and Roots Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Rincon, Georgia, dedicated to conserving biodiversity and preserving the cultural heritage of the Lower Coastal Plain. Founded in 2025 by Isaiah E. Scott, a Cornell University graduate specializing in ornithology and science communication, our mission is to protect the vital relationship between land, wildlife, and people.

Our Mission

Our mission is to conserve biodiversity and preserve cultural heritage of the Lower Coastal Plain to benefit wildlife and people. We are dedicated to the following stewardship avenues; protecting land, restoring ecosystems, preserving history, and promoting communities that depend on the natural environment.
